Mikkel graduated from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences in 2019. After a year as a rotating intern at the same university, he moved to Sweden to work at the Anicura Animal Hospital in Jönköping for the next two years. In Jönköping, Mikkel got the opportunity to further grow his passion for cardiology and emergency medicine before joining the team at SVCC in 2023 as a Cardiology Intern.

 

Mikkel has a special interest, and place in his heart, for cardiomyopathies and pathophysiology of heart failure. In his personal life, Mikkel loves cooking, travelling and board games.
