Inmaculada (Inma) was awarded her veterinary degree from Cardenal Herrera-CEU University (Valencia, Spain) in 2003. She completed a rotating internships in small animal medicine at the Fregis Veterinary Referral Hospital in Paris (France), and in small animal surgery at the National Veterinary University of Nantes (France).

 

In 2007, Inma moved to the UK where she spent 2 years working in general practice. In 2009, she returned to Valencia where she worked as a lecturer of Internal Medicine at the CEU-University veterinary department, whilst performing a PhD in myocardial infarction and stem cell therapy (Awarded with honours in 2012). She moved to New York (USA) in 2013 where she spent a year as a visiting fellow of the Cardiology Service of the Animal Medical Center (AMC). From 2018 Inma started a cardiology residency at the Royal Veterinary College (London) and obtained a Master’s degree in 2021  and the ACVIM diploma in Cardiology in 2022.

 

Inma is a compassionate vet with a wealth of professional experience at the highest level. This is channelled into her love of treating pets. She enjoys all aspects of small animal cardiology, but she has a special interest in feline cardiomyopathies and surgical interventions. Her aim within the framework of SVCC is to apply cutting-edge techniques to the benefit of her patients.
