RCVS Certificate Holder in Veterinary Cardiology

 

Annarita graduated from the University of Bari (Italy) in 2004. Following her graduation, she was awarded a grant to study abroad and completed a one-year Visiting Fellowship at the Cardiorespiratory Service of the University of Bristol (UK) under the supervision of Dr Luca Ferasin DVM PhD CertVC PGCert(HE) DipECVIM-CA (Cardiology) FRCVS. During this time, Annarita was involved in the clinical referral service, as well as various research projects published in numerous international veterinary journals. Having completed her Fellowship, Annarita spent a number of years working in a variety of busy private practice fist opinion and emergency clinics in southern England. Having a strong interest in cardiology, she joined Pride Veterinary Centre in 2008 as a Cardiologist and was awarded the RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Cardiology in 2011. In 2013, Annarita returned to Italy, where she founded a busy visiting cardiology consultancy service throughout Apulia and surrounding areas. However, Annarita has continued to regularly locum as a cardiologist for several large referral centres throughout UK.
