Cardiology Intern

Isabella (Bella) graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2018 having already developed a strong interest in veterinary cardiology. During her 5 years in a busy 24-hour first opinion hospital, Bella enrolled in a post graduate certificate in small animal cardiology which she hopes to complete later this year. In 2023, Bella undertook a rotating internship at the University of Cambridge which not only reinforced her goal of someday becoming a specialist clinician in her chosen field but also led her to meet her cheeky rescue kitten, Gunther.  She finally joined SVCC in July 2025 as a cardiology intern. Bella enjoys all aspects of Veterinary Medicine and Cardiology, but she has a particular interest in feline cardiomyopathies.

Outside of work Bella can be found rustling something up in the kitchen, painting and drawing, attending boxing sessions in the gym or planning up her next scuba diving holiday.
