High Definition Oscillometry (HDO)
High Definition Oscillometry (HDO) represents a novel approach of blood pressure measurement in dogs and cats. HDO allows real time visualisation of pulse waves that can be displayed on a computer screen and subsequently analysed for accurate measurements. After analysis, all blood pressure measurements are saved and stored on a computer database for retrospective evaluations and comparisons.
HDO is based on an innovative 32 bit technology (versus the 8 or 16 bit technology of traditional oscillomteric systems), which allows optimisation of the signal identification resulting in a fast and accurate measurement.
